Christmas Trees

GO GREEN with A REAL TREE this year!!!!!!

Real Christmas trees decompose naturally after use. They don't stay in a land fill like fake plastic trees will do.

Real Christmas trees provide a natural smell and beauty of freshness can not be duplicated by a fake tree.

Here at Honeymoon Acres in the winter time we carry christmas trees. We sell Balsam Trees and Fraser Fir trees. The balsam trees are cheaper usually but they are not the doubled needled. The balsam trees indoors they do not last as long as fraser fir trees do.

We display our trees by hanging them in our greenhouse. It shows their true straightness in trunk and exposes their true shape.

The differences in type of trees.

Fraser fir trees are a fragrant "Southern Balsam" featuring medium length needles, stiff branches and good needle retention.

Balsam fir trees are the most fragrant of Christmas trees. It features short, soft needles and medium branch stiffness. Celebrated the season with a festive fresh-cut Christmas tree! The fragrance, classic shape, and symbolism of a cut tree bring a holiday atmosphere to your home.

To care

For maxium beauty and safety, use a tree stand that holds 1 gallon of water. Refill daily. A fresh tree containing adequate moisture will NOT support a flame. Before placing tree in stand, cut at least 1/4" off the base to remove sap and allow absorption of water. Do not allow water level to drop below the trunk bottom or a new sap plug will form. Place tree away from fireplaces, radiators and other heat sources that could dry the tree.

All evergreen products are subject to availablity and time of the season. Only products available in Winter.
