2010 Planting Guide Info

So now the 2011 is here and time to plan for future gardens. We would like to thank our loyal customers for a good year once again. It is because of you that we are still around and hope to be around for many years to come. We dont have our normal plants at this time and I have updated the website with our new varieties of 2011! We do not sell the plants through the internet but we have many of the plants at Honeymoon Acres located on Hwy 57 just north of New Holstein.

All Plants are subject to availablity

Frequently Asked Questions

Are we hiring?

Not currently. We work in a seasonal manner. We also work with just a five person staff. We seem to do well with just that many. We find that the less people we have working the easier it is to keep the price of our plants low.

Why are there not many pictures on the website?

We are working on getting pictures on here, but with planting season coming. We are trying our best to do what we can. I did remake the website so hopefully by next year we will have more pictures up.

Do we carry houseplants?

No we do not, but we do carry ferns which could be used as a houseplant.

"My houseplant is dying after I transplanted it." What's wrong with it?

The soil is probably the wrong kind or the soil is gone bad (as in not suitable for plants).

How much water do plants need?

Feel the soil of the plants. No plant has a certain amount of water. What it does need, is enough to survive. You can overwater plants and underwater them. The soil moisture varies in each plant. It really depends on the type of day and temperatures you have in the day to, to know how much to water. Usually water plants when the soil is dry and you will be safe, just as long as the soil isn't so dry it kills the plant.
